FAQ

Q: What are your tuition rates?

A: Winn's Discovery Center is committed to providing a safe, caring and appropriately staffed environment. Our rates are competitive with other Type 3 facilities in the Greater New Orleans Area. Please call us for details about tuition.

Q: Does Winn's Discovery Center follow a specific curriculum?

A: Yes. Our Infant and Toddler classes follow the Frog Street Press Curriculum while our Pre-k class uses Creative Curriculum. Both programs are state approved and help prepare young children for the transition to kindergarten. In addition, WDC uses its own supplemental materials to ensure the success of each individual.

A: Our center operates between the hours of 7:30 AM – 5:20 PM

A: WDC provides breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. Milk is provided with all meals and juice is given with snack. Discovery extends to meal time as kids are introduced to a balanced diet and a variety of nutritional foods.

Q: Do you accept Drop-in/part-time children?

A: Yes. We have extended our program to care for children up to 8 years old on days their regular school may be closed.

WDC will provide part time care as space is available.

Q: What does my child need for his/her first day?
